This is the GENUINE oil level sensor found in the side of the sump of many 4.2L LandCruisers – HF89491-60060

This sensor is often broken when sumps are swapped / removed. The exterior plug of the sensor is also easily damage as it sits low under the vehicle in the side of the sump. Over time, oil & heat can cause the plastic float to become brittle and eventually fail.
