Simply cut the top off your factory intake manifold, sit our top hat on and weld it up! Designed to match the factory manifold length and width, this is the perfect upgrade for your TD42!

IF YOU SELECT COMPLETE WELDED INTAKE, WE WILL REQUIRE YOUR INTAKE TO MODIFY. INTAKES MUST BE SENT TO 1/3 PAGE STREET, KUNDA PARK, 4556, WITH A COPY OF YOUR ORDER. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR FAILING TO READ THE DESCRIPTION AND NOT SENDING YOUR INTAKE IN.

Available in 3 different options:

1. Complete DIY 3 piece kit – This is the most budget friendly option and suitable for competent welders
2. Welded top hat – Simply cut the top off your factory intake and weld this in place!
3. Complete welded intake manifold – Send us your intake manifold and we’ll modify it and send it back to you completely done and ready to bolt on!

NOTE: If you are welding the top hat on yourself, please keep in mind that the intake flange may warp if a significant amount of heat is put into the cast manifold. We recommend checking for flatness after welding but prior to installing the intake manifold. Manifolds welded in house are done in a jig and are checked & machined flat if required after welding. New, genuine intake gaskets must be used when installing manifolds.

Before we can perform any welding work on your intake manifold, it must be thoroughly cleaned of all carbon build-up, sludge, and oil deposits. Dirty manifolds can significantly compromise weld quality. If your intake manifold arrives uncleaned, we will need to send it to be cleaned which will be done so at your cost. To avoid additional charges and delays, we strongly recommend that customers properly clean their intake manifold before sending it in to us.
